People that play themselves down. I really dislike people who post a piece of art while saying “I’m really sorry that this sucks and looks so ugly. It’s a piece of shit. I’m such a bad artist.” For goodness’ sake, if YOU think your art is a piece of shit, then don’t share it with the rest of us! It’s basically the same thing as saying “here, waste your time by looking at my piece of shit. There, you lost 4 seconds of your life thanks to me.” If you don’t think your art is worth anyone’s time, do everyone a favor and keep it to yourself.
And if you’re fishing for attention/reassurance to ease your insecurity of yourself, there’s better ways to do it than to pretend to be shy and negative. The people who give you empty or false praise just to cheer you up can’t be trusted to give you any constructive or accurate feedback.
There’s a fine line called “forward-moving” between prissy negativity and humbleness.
Instead of saying “My art sucks,” say “I want to keep working hard toward my goals. Instead of saying “This is ugly,” say “It still needs work, but I’ll learn from this experience and fix it in my next piece!” Instead of saying “It’s a piece of shit,” say, “I’m going to move on from this piece and do something better.” Instead of saying “I’m a horrible artist,” say “I’m still inexperienced but I want to change that.” Instead of saying “I’m sorry my art is so bad,” say “Thank you for taking the time to look at my work! I’ll do my best to improve with every image.”
Change your attitude and your art, as well as your audience, will become more honest.
I can’t wait till winter is coming so the restaurant owners in my country can expand their terraces by placing the tables and chairs on the ice of the canals and ponds so people can sit and eat there too

Yeet-haw, a phrase to express the gen-Z detachment from reality as you make your way through this cold world. Enthused agreement with a southern flair.
