ye i know, terrible as a couple and their own person. But damnit Cosima looks so darn cute, sheβs kinda like my type in terms of outside appearance goshhh idek anymore
Actually, lets see if she would be tall or not. Liszt was 1.85m and beeing tall is a recesive trait, which means that Liszt was possibly [aa]. Now, I dont quite know what the average height was back in the 19th century, so I did 2 graphs: one where Liszt is tall, which is [aa] and one where Liszt is actually in the Middle [Aa]. Now for this I also need to know how the trait moved through the family tree, but I just dont have time for that.
Also, Idk whos Cosimas mom was so plz send me the info. So thats why I did 3 variations. One where her mum was short [AA], middle [Aa] and tall [aa].
This is for when Liszt is [Aa] and the 3 variations. In the first, right graph, Cosima has a 25% chance to be tall, 50% middle and 25% short. In the second, left graph its half-half, meaning, 50% chance tall and 50% chance to be middle. In the 3rd she has a 75% to be short and 25% to be tall.
Here Liszt was [aa]. So in the first one its 50% to be tall and 50% to be middle, 2nd is 100% tall and last one is a 100% chance to be middle.
Now, this all is not reliable, bc I need to do research on Liszts family tree and the family tree of Cosimas mom. Also, idk if she had siblings, but that also needs to go into consideration. Lastly I dont quite know what the average height was, and even if I knew, Id need to go through some mathematical calcualtions. All in all, there is a possibility that she was taller then Wagner or at least the same height. I might dive more into this when I have time π

i hate that this meme has essentially turned into a fucking whereβs waldo, cause you know what meme this is. i knew it the second i saw the reblog, and you knew it too. and i hate that i just spent ten fucking minutes looking for the guy and turning back to the first picture like this is spot the fucking difference
No itβs not. Panoramas like this are a painstaking, labor-intensive digital product, not madeΒ by justΒ βrolling down a hillβ.
This image, βBig Sur,β is part of a series called βAlterrnative Perspectivesβ by photographerΒ Randy Scott Slavin. It is an example of stereographic projection.Β
βSlavinβs circular panoramic digital technique is a way of seeing only made possible through digital methods and is an orientation he masterfully devised after much experimentation. The time required to capture the images and then create the photographs, which can consist of hundreds of photos βstitchedβ together to create a single 360-degree image.β (Amy Frearson, Dezeen.com. 2 July 2012)

I thought it was cool as is, but doubly so now with the right info

Youβve had a panic attack, an anxiety attack, a depression wave, or other emotional breakdown. Thatβs okay! Iβm so proud of you for getting through it. Now your body needs some love and affection during the comedown, when your hormones, adrenaline, and endorphins all try to level out.
Start with your five senses grounding:
Say out loud five things you see and take three deep breaths.
Say four things you hear and take another three deep breaths.
Say three things you physically feel, and take three deep breaths.
Say two things you smell, and take another three deep breaths.
Say one thing that makes you happy, and take these last three deep breaths.
That was so great, now we need to make sure youβre physically okay:
If you have any wounds, they need to be treated:
Start by making sure any bleeding stops. If you need to apply pressure, use damp gauze or a damp towel.
Then, clean the area with an antibacterial soap and warm water.
Bandage according to your needs, and apply an anti-bacterial cream if you have it on hand.
If youβve had nausea, and vomited:
Do not brush your teeth, the acid and the toothpaste can erode your enamel.
Swish to rinse your mouth with water, or a non-alcohol mouthwash.
Wonderful. Now that weβve got that done, your adrenaline should be crashing or about ready to. This will leave you shaking and cold. Donβt worry, weβre going to get through this together.
Getting Warm
If at all possible, start with a warm shower. Remember, your body temperature is going to be running high, and your nerves wonβt be as sensitive, so when you hop in, keep it at your normal warm temperature, donβt burn yourself.
Then, weβre going to want to put on warm, comfortable clothing. Sweaters, sweatpants, cardigans, socksβ¦ whatever you have that wraps you up in a hug.
Now, if your hands are steady, we can go get a mug of something warm to sip on: hot cocoa, hot tea, warm milk, creamy coffee. Something that really sounds yummy.
Awesome. Now we can go get you to your quiet place with a good couple of blankets. Tuck yourself in tight as you like, and often the heavier the better.
Youβve done so well getting here, and Iβm so proud of you. Now we have a couple more things to take care of:
Checking In
You have a support system that loves and cares about you, let them know what happened, and what you need.
Thereβs no shame at all in being honest if you need anything, theyβre there to help you as best they can.
Do your best to check in with at least three people in your support system, even over text.
That was so incredible, and Iβm so proud of you for taking such good care of yourself. Now is a fantastic time to take a nap, and check back in with yourself and your support system when you wake up.
I love you, very, very much. If you ever need me, Iβm always here.
Yay. After a long 10+ hours of (unnecessary) traveling, I finally arrived in Paris! Tomorrow Iβm definitely going to visit Chopinβs grave and the statue standing in one of the parks. And Saturday I will be going to Versailles! I still need to figure out the routes though but it will be worth it ;DD
(Our bus needed to pick up more people in our country so it was a long journey. Normally one could drive to Paris within 6 hours from where I live, but oh well)
Honestly Ive never been to Paris, but your trip sounds so cool!!! Idk what you should wisit tho, but good luck!!!
