The beach was really nice, low and calm and remote uwu🌸 there was so much view: the wide sky, the tranquil sea, the beach (full of doggies!), the green mountains and the mangroves (i regret not taking any!) but i captured so little of it.

This sounds really fake, but honestly I couldn’t make this up if I tried and this dream was literally the most interesting dream I have ever had, and it still makes me smile, years later because it was just weirdly fun and nothing terrible happened.
It contained these themes/events, in this order:
– Star wars Jedi temple Padawan training, but at the same time it was Pythagoras’s eviction? idk it was Yoda and Pythagoras in a Greek temple that got set on fire and we all had to Run
– Then it was pirate treaties but with partially civil war era USA aesthetic and vibes
– This led to a cultural exchange program bordering on forced labour, and there was a weird lottery to determine who got to/had to go
– I got sent there with a bunch of other people and we were working in a cranberry field? Just picking cranberries? It was kinda chill?
– Then we decided to riot because of unfair working hours
– Our riot wouldn’t have worked but then the NCC 1701 D showed up? For some reason?
– Captain Picard just beamed us up?
– Now there were like thirty kids on an empty starship and Picard was like ‘my crew is just gone so you kids are my crew now’
– So I called dibs on science officer which was fun, so I got to do science and stuff, and be second in command
– Then we just flew away
– But then there was a gas leak so we all had to crawl through the air ducts and fix it
– We fixed it and everything was fine
Anyways, it was an interesting time.
Wild 👌 I actually just enjoy how nerdy it is, like, one of the beast dreams I have ever read. I now want to re-live it xD

when i was in high school i used to write my papers thinking wow i’m just bullshitting all of this. then like a week before my senior year ended after all the grades were set, i was talking to my english teacher and told him you know i just bullshitted every paper i wrote. he told me that while i may have thought i was just pulling it all out of my ass, i genuinely knew what i was talking about and made well-supported analyses. i only thought i was bullshitting because it didn’t take much effort and it all seemed obvious to me. if you do well on your essays even though you think you’re just making it up as you go, chances are you’re not pulling it out of your ass. you’re just a genuinely talented analyst, even if the analysis that you’re making comes from a subconscious understanding of the material rather than a conscious effort to study it. give yourself some credit.
